Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Planner for a permanent position based in eThekwini, Durban, Cato Ridge. This position is based in the Production Department and reports directly to the Logistics Manager. Experience in a large, high pressurised environment essential, preferably from Manufacturing, FMCG, and Logistics/Supply Chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Candidates must have their own reliable transport, to and from Cato Ridge
• Scheduling of sales orders into opt-studio for manufacturing accordingly
• Compile and maintain production plan
• Meet customer requested dates as per ATP and update marketing department
• Ensure effective time management and prioritizing of tasks
• Daily updating of production status of orders and maintenance of opt-studio
• Ensure accurate reporting of monthly forecast vs actual
• Update sales, production and marketing team on production/order status and changes
• Circulating production plan and updating campaign plan

Minimum Requirements:
• Non-negotiable – Matric; Relevant Post Matric Qualification in Supply Chain
• Previous exposure to Production planning /Scheduling
• Candidates must have own and reliable transport to and from Cato Ridge
• Proficiency in MS Office; Advanced Excel skills; Oracle (advantageous)
• Ability to be self-managed, proactive, self-manage and multitask
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
