4 Years experience in a production planning role, with stores controlling experience and a strong understanding of supply chain.
4 Years experience with an MRP system.

Plans and prepare the production schedules for the manufacture of products, with the purpose of ensuring
continuous supply of finished product.
Ensure timeous delivery of raw and packaging material by expediting the flow of materials to meet production and
customer demands.
Maintaining an acceptable level of inventory against predetermined targets.
Ensure the smooth running of production facitity.
Controlling the process of production planning to ensure optimal finished product stock levels
Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet scheduled.

Ensure that raw and packaging materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
Troubleshoot problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions.
Capturing of works orders to update the stock system.
