Qualifications
1 ) Matric Certificate.
2) Diploma in Production Management
3) Diploma in Plastics Technology. (Advanced injection moulding and extrusion setting)
4) Recognised Technical qualification
5) MS Word, Excel and Power point.
6) Min 8 years Supervisory / Management experience in an In Moulding / Extrusion manufacturing environment
7) Own Transport NB
Description of Position:
Oversee the production department operations and staffing to reach production deadlines in line with production plans and in compliance with company and IATF 16949 systems, policies and procedures. Responsible to adjust schedules, maintain equipment and improve product flow. Train and oversee staff in line with specific key-work criteria including safety and regulatory compliance in line with ISO 14001 HSE regulations. Track, analyse, forecast and report on budgets and goals. Identify and drive Technical and process improvement projects in all manufacturing processes.

1 ) People management and development in a busy work environment.
2) Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
3) Oversee the manufacturing process and process flow of manufactured products.
4) Creating, managing and analysing performance data, statistics and other information and reporting.
5) Lead Team activities to improve Safety, Quality, Productivity & Cost KPl's (5S). 6) Lead cost reduction activities based on 4M (Money, Material, Machinery & Method) 7) Ensuring that capacity and capability are continually planned.
8) Maintaining process and machine uptime at agreed levels.
9) H,S & Environment / ISO 14001/ Housekeeping compliance.
10) Continuous improvement of production processes (Cycle times / Run times / Mould changes)
