The overall planning and control of all day to day production shop floor activities in accordance with IATF 16949 systems and procedures, ISO 14001 HSE program and specific key-work criteria. The overall maintenance of shop floor discipline and housekeeping, and responsible for preparing and monitoring of production, KPI’s and Efficiencies
Suggested Minimum Education, Training and Skills Requirements:
1. Matric certificate
2. Recognised production management/supervisory qualification
3. Recognized plastics processing qualification
Experience:
1. 5 years’ experience in a similar management position, preferably in a plastics processing environment.
Ensuring that capacity and capability are continually planned
Encouraging, identifying and developing best practice strategy
Ensuring compliance to all environmental, health and safety goals and objectives
Producing operation manuals which defines how the manufacturing is to be run
Training and development of production supervisory staff and general personnel
Working closely with Production Manager, warehouse, quality, HR and manufacturing department (supervisors, setters and operators).
Successfully manage production, processes and liaise with Technical Manager on machinery breakdowns and planned maintenance system
