Our client based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities will include but limited to:
Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities to employees.
Check production requirements per job cards.
Collect information about production and report back to the production Manager.
Check production output is in line with job cards and requirements.
Ensure that the production process is being carried out in line with the company’s rules and regulations.
Report any issues in the factory to relevant department.
Ensure safe use of machinery and equipment.
Enforce strict health and safety regulations according to the company’s rules and regulations.
Lead, train and develop employees.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 11
Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
Previous experience working in a Food Manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of Food health and safety.
Previous experience managing a large workforce.
Good communication skills.
Problem solving abilities.
Attention to detail.
Good time management skills.
Must be willing to work shifts.
