Project Coordinator

Our client, in the Agricultural industry, requires the services of a practical and hands on Project Coordinator to join their team.

Key performance areas:

? Monitor cloud infrastructure and make sure everything is running at optimal performance.
? Maintaining and monitoring BOM, project plans, project schedules, work hours
? Organizing where necessary and participating in stakeholder meetings
? Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
? Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings (status, ETA’s etc)
? Ensuring project deadlines are met.
? Determining project changes. (eg. Sourcing local replacement items etc)
? Providing administrative support as needed
? Undertaking project tasks as required
? Developing project strategies for local supply items.
? Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
? Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
? Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards best solution.
? Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
? Liaise with sales team around potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
? Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
? Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
? Manage project-related function and paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are checked, receipt, properly packed, labelled, and stored including filling.
? Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
? Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
? Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
? Assisting C/S and/or Tele-sales when needed
? Assisting warehouse when needed - supervising loading and unloading of trucks/containers, counting stock, picking and/or packing of goods

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or related field of study
? At least 5 years’ experience in related field
? Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP)
? Previous experience regarding irrigation products will be advantageous
? Energetic, dynamic, and independent
? Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
? Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
? Team-management and leadership skills
? Attention to detail under pressure.
? Meticulous and methodical with good record keeping abilities.
? A high level of self-motivation and ability to set and meet goals will be necessary.
? Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot and to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
? Excellent critical and creative thinking.
