Our client is a high Profile a full-service program management and production company, specializing in the development of ambitious multi-platform arts and culture exhibitions and events with impact. Combining agile project management by in-house museum, arts and culture, design and architecture professionals with a vast network of partners, including world-renowned architects, designers, artists, curators, content providers, media and other industry experts to ensure the successful realization of our clients’ vision.

They excel in the development and production of large-scale, complex temporary and permanent exhibitions. Working closely with our clients, we strive to create unique multi-platform experiences that educate and impress audiences and stay with visitors long after they have left the venue.

Our Client Is seeking a highly skilled a Project Director. This position reports CEO/COO and the incumbent will be responsible for the following.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management
• Oversee project development from beginning to end
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
• Keep track of site activities and identify critical points
• Attend Client/Consultant meetings
• Ensure compliance with procedures and Saudi law
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Maintain a good relationship with the client and provide progress reports to the clients

Schematic Services {dialogue of design solutions including drawings, material samples, budgets, and product

• Manage Stakeholders, manage team, Manage Risk, Manage the project schedule, Manage the project budget, Manage conflict through effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Defining and managing the expectations and deliverables of the project.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to all internal and external team members in a timely and clear fashion; and review these expectations on a regular basis.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents submittals/approvals with clients and consultants
• Establishing the staffing requirements for the efficient implementation of the project by defining the various roles and approve employment of suitable candidates for the identified roles.
• Managing the financial objectives of the project through budgets, cash flows, scheduled expenditure in coordination with the project schedule and initiate corrective action where required.
• Delivering the operational objectives, as defined in the project brief and project schedule, through contributions to strategic planning and reviews, preparation of relevant action and recovery plans, setting production, quality, financial and time related targets to achieve the objectives set out by Client.
• Preparation and finalization of supply request / purchase order for all required equipment’s / machineries complying with the contract documents. (As per client requirement).
• Oversee project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations to the higher management and clients.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Safety coordination with site management.
• Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Essential qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management/Engineering/Business/Architecture.
• 10 to 12 years in Project Management (Hotels, Museums, Interior)
• Technical Experience in Project Management, Financial management
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Must have attention to detail and be a natural problem solver, able to anticipate and take corrective action, self-starter.
