Project Engineers/Jnr Site Agents – Roads, bridges, drainage & surfacing (Albany, Western Australia)
A large International Construction company operating throughout Australia & New Zealand is looking for qualified Project Engineers/Site Agents – Roads, bridges, drainage and surfacing with a sound knowledge of Large multi-million projects with experience in Concrete structures & Roads (Highways etc.) You will be based in Albany, Western Australia. You must have a stable track record, you would have worked for recognised companies as a Project Engineer/Site Agent for 5 – 8 years.

Description:
Assumes responsibility for the site Management and integration of all physical construction activities on site.

Skills, Experience & Education:
BSC, BTech, HND or ND in Civil Engineering
Min 10 years of experience in the Roads & earthworks industry particularly in Roads and Services , out of which the last 3-5 years should have functioned in the similar capacity of a medium/ large Roads & Earthworks construction Company (CIDB 8 or 9).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To construct and deliver the allocated section of work within a specified timeframe with allocated resources.
Read, understand and explain drawing specifications to Foremen.
Ensure safety compliances to and promote safe working practices.
Monitor construction activity on site to prescribed quality standards.
Monitor production and make daily progress reports for submission to Line Management.
Identify bottlenecks, resolve them and streamline the construction process on site.
Integrate various resource requirements of production teams on site.
Monitor, control and improve production and productivity levels on site.
Conduct production planning and integration meetings on site
