The responsibilities of the marketing project manager include planning marketing campaigns, delegating tasks to project team members, supervising those employees, and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Description:

Work With Marketing Director to Create Marketing Strategy - responsible to map out the tasks required to implement that vision.
Oversees a group of marketing projects simultaneously and tracks the success of that selection of projects against company goals.
Monitor scheduling, trafficking, planning and resource management from accepted concept through delivery for allocated universal marketing projects and campaigns.
Use analytics and reported data regarding each campaign to ensure the marketing projects are helping to reach broader targets and objectives.
Designs, plans, and coordinates marketing campaigns and projects abroad. They must be able to ascertain which international markets present the largest opportunity for profit, and they must design culturally appropriate campaigns.
Create and Manage Content Calendar - are responsible for creating and managing a content calendar to ensure this content gets completed in a timely manner, responsible for sourcing freelance vendors should the in-house skillset not be available.
Create Project Budgets and Timelines - must be financially inclined, responsible for creating the budget of a marketing campaign and responsible for creating the project timeline, and then ensuring everyone keeps to this timeline.
Develop and Maintain External Vendor Relationships and maintain these relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar required.
Advanced qualifications in Project Management
Experience with online platforms, website content management systems, and other marketing tools is important as well. 
7+ years of experience in a related role
Thorough understanding of business and marketing principles.
Strong knowledge of databases and tracking systems.
Fantastic organizational skills and detail oriented.
