A large, well-known consulting firm is looking to employ a Senior Engineer as a Project Manager to oversee a roads project in Pietermaritzburg.

Suitable candidates will possess a BSc, BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering and must be registered with ECSA as a PrEng or PrTech. Those who are registered with SACPCMP as well will receive a distinct advantage. At least fifteen years’ experience in site supervision in varying areas of roads projects is required for this position. Although English language skills are a requirement, the ability to speak Zulu would also be advantageous. Suitable candidates will possess a sound knowledge of FIDIC and GCC, as well as contractual claim protocols. An ability to work excel both individually as well as within a team is required.
