JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the effective management of the project, liaise with different stakeholder and supervision of staff in the area of responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Proper management of subordinates in the
area of responsibility
• Implement and maintain the company's
occupational health and safety programme
to ensure a safe and healthy work
environment
• Ensure adherence to all requirements as set
out in the risk assessment
• Ensure compliance as per ISO
documentation
• Timeous submission of reports and other
necessary documents e.g invoices e.t.c
• Monitoring and correcting project program
• Verifying corrections of all information
communicated to client and head office
• Analyse daily delays experienced and
possible delays
• Monitoring progressive utilisation
• Checking progressive revenue, cost and
profit against budget
• Authorising and controlling overtime
• Ensuring job training is dynamic and on-
going and evaluated on a regular basis
• Ensuring a client signs off production report
daily
• Liaising with relevant production managers
at least once a week
• Attending planning meetings weekly at each
mine of area of responsibility
• Source new work.

Educational requirement
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma or Degree in Project management
OR Construction Management

Experience required
• Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in
the mining industry
• Raise boring experience preferred
