Property Administrator - Commercial Property
The role has full responsibility for all administrative matters whilst supporting the Commercial Property Portfolio Manager.
This includes :
*Liaising with tenants, brokers, contractors and landlords,
*the preparation of ‘Offers to Lease’ and ‘Lease Agreements’,
*capturing of the lease details into system,
*preparation of owner payments
*the updating of notes on system in respect of vacancies, lease renewals and progress with the finalization of lease agreements.
Daily Responsibilities:
*Queries and Reconciliations
*Rental vacancies
*Leasing administration
*Maintenance co-ordination and follow-ups with service providers and tenants
*General administration
Monthly Responsibilities:
*Hand-over & Take-over of properties
*Budget -re-forecasting, projections and reports
*Running and distribution of Owner's Management Reports
*General monthly administration
Annual Responsibilities:
*Achieving of files
*Auditing of lease agreements
*Monitoring municipality increases
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience - MUST HAVE
• Minimum 2 years Property administration experience
• Matric + relevant Property Administration qualification
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal
• Good numeracy and financial management skills
• Computer literate - Email, word, excel
• Ability to adapt to a variety of environments and work demands
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity to client and tenants needs.
• Willingness to work additional hours as the demands of the job might indicate.
• High customer-focused attitude
