Our client, a leading retailer, requires the services of a Property Manager in Cape Town to successfully manage all buildings within personal portfolio from a profit, maintenance and safety perspective.

Key performance areas:

? Prepare and control the budgets for each building
? Manage all aspects of the leasing process and the administration thereof
? Timeously collect and administrate monthly rentals
? Manage building maintenance and various contractors
? Manage staff and external service providers
? Liaise with tenants regarding complaints, requests, etc.
? Manage the day-to-day running of each building
? Ensure all buildings comply with health and safety standards
? Complete monthly management reports

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a LLB or Property Management degree or Property Studies diploma
? 3 – 5 years property / asset management experience
? 3 – 5 years drawing up and managing budgets experience
? Experience in Accounts/ finance basics e.g. income and expense statements
? Knowledge of contract law and principles
? Knowledge of legal system and processes
? Advanced SAP Real Estate experience
? Advanced computer literacy
? Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
? Must have good business acumen
? The ability to understand global vision and be able to make independent decisions
