RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a qualified and suitably experienced QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT for a well-established large concern, position based in the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

PERSON MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE PIETERMARITZBURG / PIETERMARITZBURG OUTSKIRTS (TOWARDS DURBAN)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
BCom Degree (majoring in Accounting and Taxation) OR Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Intermediate / advanced MS Excel skills.
Person will be responsible for the day to day operations of the administration department and providing management accounts and other reporting, including financial planning and budgeting, reporting and budget variances, cost control and cost analysis programmes.
Understands an ERP system and data warehouse functions.
5yrs+ previous experience in a similar position.
Review and authorizing payments.
Administration of the fixed asset register.
Administration of VAT.
Administration of Corporate Income Tax.
Administrate monthly financial statements.
Monthly Financial reports.
Year-end financial administration.
Administration of financial procedures and internal control.
