Our client, based in Australia is looking for skilled and experienced Mechanical Tradesman, Boilermakers, Fitters and Welders to join their specialized team in related services to,

The successful candidates will assemble, install maintain and repair mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Please note: The culture of miner safety in Australia is at the fundamental basis for safe work. Australia mining safety regulations is held at very high standards,

Gearbox replacements, Roller, and idler replacements.
Flange replacements – Fabrication with exotic materials like CuNi, SS and similar
Culvet works – including but not limited to refurbishment of stackers and reclaimers. Maintenance of pulleys, apron feeders, gearboxes and wear products, laser alignment. But not limited to.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Install and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery, including conveyor systems, pumps, and motors.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and defects.
Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, including frames, scaffolding, and supports.
Cut, weld, and braze metal parts using welding and flame-cutting equipment.
Repair and maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Use hand and power tools to make precision cuts, measurements, and adjustments.

Requirements:
Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaker, Welding or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Tradesman, Fitter, Boilermaker, or Welder.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be physically fit and able to work in various environments (e.g. heights, confined spaces).
