QUALIFIED SPRAY PAINTER
(RAIL & LOCOMOTIVE INDUSTRY)

ROSSLYN, PRETORIA, GAUTENG PROVINCE

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Matric
• Qualified Red Seal Trade Tested Spray Painter
• Apprenticeship at TRE (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Spray Painter in the rail / aircraft industry
• Proficient in the use of spray-painting equipment and techniques (ESSENTIAL)
• Certifications in rail-specific coatings or painting techniques (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Experience working in the rail & locomotive industry (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
• Duties: Spray painting, surface preparation, colour matching, quality control, safety procedures & working collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (written & verbal)
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit in relation to the demands of the profile of the position (medical assessment will be conducted by company)
• Valid Driver’s Licence (no endorsements) & Police Clearance Certificate (3 months validity)
• Valid Forklift Licence (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Own reliable vehicle or arranged transport
• Must be based in Gauteng Province
• Candidates from other provinces will be considered if willing to relocate at their own cost
