Quality Controller / Quality Inspector, with Sheetmetal products / factory / manufacturing background – West Rand, JHB

Manufacturing company, looking for a Quality Controller for their factory.

Duties:
• To do quality inspections on manufactured items, like factory products/ equipment (incoming quality control)
• Reading technical drawings
• Using efficiently, different types of measuring tools (i.e. Vernier, micrometer etc.)
• Ensure there are no defects, in according to the drawings and specs.
• Report non-conformance, when detected
• Reporting and documenting of Quality Results

Experience & Skills Required:
• Matric + relevant qualifications /OR experience (quality control)
• Min 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Must have done quality inspections on manufactured items, like factory products/ equipment
• Good computer skills
• Able to read technical drawings
• Attention to detail etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (accuracy)
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Professional behaviour, honest and loyal

Salary: R9, 000 – 12, 000 pm CTC - negotiable with the experience
