Position: Quality Engineer

Requirements, Experience and Abilities:
• APQP & PPAP
• TS / AITF 16949 Internal process auditor, QS9001, VDA 6.3 Certified Auditor
• 8-D Strong problem solving and communication skills
• HIGH level of computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Projects
• Monthly Quality Operational Reporting – Analysis of quality statistical data and focusing of Cost of poor Quality, RPPM from customer portals
• Managing Calibration Systems
• Internal and External TS 16949 Audits
• Containment implementation and monitoring
• Supplier monitoring – SPPM
• Month end reporting to management
• Capability studies
• Driving customer concerns and internal PPM through 8-Ds
• Master Samples – Updating of samples and registers

Responsibilities:
• Ensure daily information is displayed on board
• Rework PPM, Top Concerns and operators
• Raise deviations when reworks cannot be done in Rework cell, control and verify the reworked product
• Coordinate communication requirements between inspectors, auditors and production personnel
• Daily rework PPM
• Ensure good housekeeping
• Ensure stock hold information is up to date in Hold Area
• Verify scarp prior to disposition to scrap area
• Control salvage parts and ensure return to production
• Daily update of internal PPM, Top concerns and operators to be displayed in different areas
