In working for a well established international company, the Quality Manager will ensure that a quality management system (QMS) is implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 One will manage the Quality Control Team (i.e. Inspectors etc) and maintain a QMS that ensures full management accountability for the overall quality of products released by the Company

Responsible for managing quality assurance documents and activities along with internal reporting and audits.
Manage non-conformance processing with good record keeping and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
Maintain customer feedback to the required company standards
Comply with and interpret quality assurance standards (i.e. ISO 9001:2015)
Ensure Company wide compliance byIdentifying training needs and take action to
Manage the Quality Control Team (i.e. Inspectors and Laboratory Staff)
Establish procedures, standards and systems in working with all Departments
Do periodic quality control checks and monitoring the various production lines
DMC and resin moulding
CNC and manual machining processes, including multiple-axis milling processes and turning
Sheet Metal punching, laser cutting, bending, welding and dressing
Epoxy powder-coating
Zinc passivation and plating
Copperwork
Understand and implement improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality.
Work together with project leaders to discuss solutions to quality issues
Satisfy Customer expectations about the product's quality by direct handling of Non-Conformances from customers to ensure that the issues are not repeated and that improvements are logged, verified and ongoing.
Create quality control plans (QCP’s) for new products to guarantee quality from stage one and support to the Contracts Engineering department in the formulation of Quality Control Plans (QCP’s) and ensure that they are properly used to track contract progress and milestones for quality.
Write reports on design, pre-production and production quality related issues to monitor the quality status of the product at all stages of production and inform the rest of the production team.
Audit materials provided by suppliers to assure quality before incorporation into the product.
Assess the product quality at various stages of manufacture and keeping searchable electronic records that are categorised by product type, family, serial no. etc. The use of this information to generate trends and failure analysis that can be fed back into senior Management, Engineering and Production functions.
Investigate Causes of quality problems and proposing solutions.
Trainnew Quality Control employees.
Continue education on newly developing Quality Control techniques
Investment, creation and ongoing maintenance of an online quality record database using digital tools for NCR capture, logging and closeout.
Assist in the overall business migration to digital systems for capturing and monitoring traceability of product.
Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma is essential
Min 5 yrs exp in Quality Management role in similar (manufacturing) environment
Certifications an advantage
Quality Inspection, auditing and testing experience
