Minimum requirements:

National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
3 years practical experience in Automotive Industry
Have a working knowledge of technical specifications and part drawings
Strong analytical ability
Be computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Good knowledge of   production processes
Driver’s License essential


Duties:

First respondents, to support reported series quality problems from final assembly & body shop.
Pre analysis and co-ordination of series quality problems on purchase parts
Responsible for implementing production quality containment actions.
Raise, control and track KPM P problem sheets.
Audit service provider processes and standards.
Conduct dock audits on purchase part related quality improvements
Liaise with QAPP engineers on problem resolution for series quality problems.
Daily reporting on quality defects reported from production.
Support QAPP engineer at supplier to resolve production hurdles..
Reporting and monitoring delivery quality performance of local suppliers.
Arbitrate on NCP disputes
