Our client, based in Wellington, in the Boland, is a medium-sized civil construction company that carries out a wide range of civil construction works. The company’s clients include the private sector, government, local authorities and municipalities. They have an urgent vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) who should meet the following requirements: A diploma or a degree in Quantity Surveying; a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience (preferably in a Civil Works environment); and in depth knowledge of SABS 1200 (Standardized Specifications for Civil Engineering Construction). The ideal candidate should be able to apply attention to detail, be used to work independently and be able to perform under pressure.
