Receptionist
Permanent / Contract - Junior position – Ideal for young school graduate

Benoni / Brakpan , Gauteng

Salary Range:

R5,000 - R8,000 pm basic salary + Benefits once the person is made permanent after probation.

About the Position

Duties include but not limited to:
• Operate the switchboard to answer, screen, and direct calls, and takes messages as required.
• Direct call to the required person or decides on the most appropriate person for responding to specific questions.
• Provide information about the establishment such as location of departments, offices or employees within the organisation, or services provided.
• Receive and directs all visitors to the correct locations.
• Perform adhoc general administrative duties.
• Management of the reception area, welcome guests, manage switchboard, liaise with couriers, suppliers and contractors
• Management and booking of meeting rooms for Management, ensure that all equipment etc. required for meetings are checked and in working prior to the meeting
Requirements:
• Friendly, Enthusiastic, Energetic and willing to go the extra mile, are the ideal characteristics of this placement or suitable candidate.
• Grade 12 or higher.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role where you have proven competency in General Administration, Reception, Switchboard or Front Office / Guest Relations
• Fully bilingual - excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Able to communicate in Afrikaans and English, a third language of Zulu / Portuguese / isiXhosa will be advantageous.
• Excellent administrative skills
• Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point are none negotiable.
• Need to be neat and presentable person who will portray a professional image of the Company at the front desk.

• Desired Qualification Accreditation
o Grade 12 / Matric
o Qualification / Certificate in office administration, Personal Assistant or Secretarial will be advantageous.
• Mus have their own reliable transport.
