Our client, in the agricultural industry, is looking for a pro-active and well organized Refrigeration Assistant who can work independent and efficiently in a pressurised environment.

Key performance areas:

? Assist the Refrigeration Technician with servicing and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
? Daily inspections and weekly preventative maintenance checks on refrigeration equipment.
? Apply, monitor and maintain correct cooling protocols and regimes.
? Repair minor building items and equipment.
? Keep working area and equipment clean and safe.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with relevant tertiary qualifications as per OSH Act to work on Ammonia Refrigeration Equipment is essential
? SARACCA Category B Ammonia Refrigeration Practitioner
? At least 4 years’ proven job-related experience in similar position and workplace
? Computer skills (MS Office and more specific Excel (Basic) and Outlook)
? Good communication skills
? Must be willing to do standby/weekend duty
? Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
