RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a suitably qualified and experienced REGIONAL MANUFACTURING ACCOUNTANT for an international concern - position based in the KwaZulu-Natal area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
English speaking person (strong written and verbal English language skills).
Recognised accounting degree (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills is essential.
Previous working experience in an ERP system.
5yrs+ previous experience in managing reporting within a manufacturing environment.
Local experience of leading a diverse and multi-site team would be desirable.
Commercial experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge of shipping / customs formalities / requirements highly advantageous.
Take financial ownership of the manufacturing, variance and costing and fixed asset management and capex related activities across the regional manufacturing sites.
Ensure accuracy of financial reporting of all manufacturing output, accuracy of costing and the reporting, understanding and remediation of variances.
Seek to raise the quality and focus of financial reporting around all manufacturing activities.
Provide input to site management teams to ensure they understand business performance and can initiate and implement remediation plans to drive improved financial performance.
