Reporting to: Divisional Manager: Clinical
Job Purpose
Managing a team of Key account Specialists servicing the Life Science industry to achieve regional and divisional sales targets within The Scientific Group
Required Learning and Experience
• Degree / NQF 6 within Life Sciences.
• Minimum of five years’ sales experience within the Life Science Industry.
• Management experience, advantageous
• Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Existing relationships with Key Clinical customers advantageous
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Key Job Outputs
• Leading Sales team in promoting the TSG product portfolio to existing and new
customers.
• Achieve and exceed Sales and GP budgets within territories, relevant customer accounts and product budgets.
• New Business Development: Account focused Marketing Strategies towards achieving and exceeding growth targets. Develop and implement tactical plans to realise new growth opportunities.
• Implement, monitor and ensure total territorial coverage by each individual Product Specialist.
• Ensure in-field accompaniment of Product Specialists and provide support with respect to product- and sales knowledge.
• Key Opinion Leader interaction.
• Effectively following up and concluding long term high value projects.
• Comply with required internal processes and reporting to ultimately deliver growth and manage sales performance.
• Manage personal skills development of Sales team to deliver growth.
• Deliver on own Product Sales and GP budgets.
• Comply with company quality system requirements
• Interactions with all stakeholders to be in line with business values and code of ethics.
