REGISTERED NURSE - NICU (Qualified).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of patients in NICU.
• Ensure a therapeutic and safe patient environment by maintaining health and safety standards and comply with infection prevention and control policy.
• Prevent, report and manage medico legal risks.
• Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in the highly specialised field of the intensive care nursing.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a NICU/Midwifery environment - essential.
• NICU qualification would be an advantage.
• Trained in ICU with a degree/diploma in critical care as a minimum.
• Must be willing to work shifts as required by unit.
