REGISTERED NURSE – SURGICAL WARD

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of patients in the unit.
• Offer a supporting role to Doctors.
• Shift Leading.
• Maintain professional conduct and standards at all times in accordance with hospital and unit policies and procedures
• Prevent, report and manage medico legal risks.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Must be willing to work shifts as required by unit.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
• The ability to display sound judgement in problem-solving.
