Our Content Strategists play a key role on client projects in bringing together customer
needs and business requirements to develop strategies and recommendations for
content planning and governance. Working within an experience design agency our
Content Strategists have a keen interest and understanding in user experience
methodologies.

Role & Responsibilities
Content Strategy

• Conduct content audits across digital and social channels
• Undertake user experience expert reviews of content performance
• Translate insight into content recommendations and strategy
• Work closely with information architects informing user journeys and site
architectures
• Work closely with designers to inform content design
• Create and deliver content governance workshops with clients to map current
processes and understand pain points
• Provide recommendations for improvement in the content creation and governance
processes
• Experience with a range of content management systems
• Define and gather user requirements for content management systems
• Able to work within varying tone of voice guidelines
• Able to present thinking to clients and stakeholders
• An understanding of the role of content in SEO and the ability to provide
recommendations for how to meet SEO needs

Experience

• 5+ years in a content strategy role
• Creating content strategy for large corporate websites
• Creating content delivery strategy for social channels and email marketing
• You have a background in content creation, such as UX writing
• Delivering client facing workshops, taking clients on the journey and uncovering
business needs
• Managing the needs of multiple client stakeholders and getting alignment and
agreement, including brand and legal teams
• Presenting your work and thinking to clients and stakeholders
• Working with designers to implement content approach and content design
• With user experience research practices, using data gathered by UX researchers and using that to inform strategy
• Competent user of core Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Attention to detail – you must be meticulous in your auditing and mapping of
content and governance processes.
• You firmly believe that creating content with the user in mind is key to its success
and you're prepared to challenge the status quo.
• Good verbal communicator. You must be able to interact effectively with clients
and Foolproof colleagues, building rapport and confidence.
• Good written communicator. You will have experience with writing both for
customers and for clients, you’ll be expected to deliver a range of different types of
document, from emails to presentations, specifications to spreadsheets, so your
ability to write clearly and accurately is important.
• Problem solving. You must be confident in handling problems, asking for help as
needed, and in identifying and driving pragmatic solutions. Be open to learning and
listening to the input of others.
