RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced RESERVATIONIST / MARKETING & SALES PERSON for a game reserve based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license.
Bilingual in both English and Afrikaans with good writing skills.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Experience on the Knightsbridge programme an added advantage.
Relevant training/qualification in marketing beneficial.
2-3 years’ experience in reservations, marketing and sales within the hospitality industry.
Planning, executing, monitoring and reporting skills.
Person will be required to manage reservations, marketing and sales in line with business strategies.
Must be able to liaise with external service providers to market and develop sales packages to attract new business.
Negotiate discounted prices with the lodge to develop holiday packages to attract new business.
Must be capable of managing reservations and bookings via phone, or in writing on the booking system. Capable in marketing on all media platforms including external parties e.g. Lekker-Slaap, and other Travel Agents / platforms, etc.
Will suit an organized person with great communication skills and plenty of team spirit.
