Qualifications/Experience
Tourism/Hospitality qualification
Protel or similar PMS Training essential
Minimum 3 years Lodge Reservations or similar industry experience in the luxury market
Computer Literate with Microsoft Office
English speaking, fluent in written English

Duties

Logging and responding to enquiries by phone and e-mail, making reservations in accordance with VLE agreed turnaround guidelines
Updating and reconfirming all website bookings.
Ensure reservations are handled in accordance with company minimum standards for turnaround/confirmation and follow up.
Following up on provisional reservations.
Updating and maintaining our client database.
Issuing invoices, chasing and receipting payments for reservations.
To book internal flights and road transfers for guests as required.
Ensuring all guests requests such as booking excursions, treatments etc. are accurately detailed in Protel.
Creating guest profiles for identified VIP & repeat clients and ensuring they are updated.
Maintaining a good rapport with guests

Salary R 15 000 including incentive Bonus. Med Aid & Pension Fund.

An incentive bonus will be paid according to the company bonus criteria for Sales and Reservations on a bi-annual basis as agreed with the Groups and Sales Director. The first incentive bonus period will commence following the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.
