Core Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and industry related software like Computer-Aided Design CAD).
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and interpret technical diagrams
• Ability to work in industrial setting which includes walking, climbing, bending, and wearing appropriate safety gear
• Experience with diagnostic and quality measuring tools
• Able to Prepare Payment Certificates for The Contractor.
• Able to Lead Progress, Chair Client monthly Progress and Technical meetings.
• Able to prepare client monthly reports

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of projects
• Supervision of projects and compliance oversight
• Revising process and engineering changes and other activities within the plant.
• Assessing construction activities and granting them approval if falling under plans specifications.
• Designing utilities and facilities for construction undertakings
• Coordinate other field staff including supervisors, foremen, and workers
• Ensure team adherence to specified standards, design to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk
• Ensure team adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations
• Carry out periodic inspections
• Identify and resolve queries and meet problems with senior solutions

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• BSc/ BEng/ BTech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng/ Pr Tech Eng/ Pr Techni Eng
• 3 Years’ Experience in Road & Stormwater, Civil projects, Commercial/Building and Residential projects.
• Applicable Driver's license
• A candidate must have excellent communication, analytical and calculative skills.
