* Ensures that each batch of finished packaged product has been manufactured and checked in compliance with GMP guidelines and the Pharmacy Regulations as well as in conformance with South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) guidelines and release finished product ensuring adequate quality.
* To ensure all production documents are recorded and signed ensuring compliance to Good documentation practices.
* To ensure compliance with technical or regulatory requirements related to the quality of finished products and the approval of the release of the finished product to the client.
* Implementation (and establishment if needed) of the quality system.
* Participation in the development of the company’s quality manual.
* Supervision and participation in the regular internal audits or self-inspections.
* Oversight of the quality control department.
* Participation in external audits (Vendor audits).
* Participation in validation programmes.
* Registered with South African Pharmacy Council.
