The popular, well-established restaurant is seeking to appoint a vibrant, experienced Front of House Manager to:

- Manage the day to day operation of the restaurant
- Open and close the restaurant
- Ensure sufficient staff are rostered and duties allocated
- Manage the reservations
- Offer warm, friendly and professional service to patrons
- Train staff to ensure excellent service in both food and beverage
- Front of House stock control and stock take ensuring that variances are addressed
- End of shift cashing up of service staff
- Address any HR or IR related matters according to procedures

Requirements:

- Matric qualification
- Hospitality / F & B qualification would be advantageous
- Computer literate with experience on Point of Sale systems
- Be willing to work late shifts, 5 days a week
- Previous managerial experience in a similar position within a medium-sized restaurant
- Show good leadership skills, be hard-working and can work independently
- Problem solver
- Excellent service skills
- Have own, reliable transport
- Have a clean work record with contactable references
