We currently have a Head Chef position available with a successful upmarket a la carte Restaurant in the Roodepoort area. Looking for individuals with 7 or more years relevant experience in an a la carte kitchen. Applicants must have good all round cooking and general kitchen management skills. Duties will include food preparation, stock control and general kitchen administration. The position is ideal for a chef with knowledge of food costing as well as food health & safety. Looking for serious candidates only who can run a complete kitchen operation and lead a kitchen brigade. A formal qualification is beneficial but not essential. Salary R 15 – 20 K nett depending on experience.
