Upmarket Restaurant in the Sandton area is looking for a Head Chef. Looking for individuals with 4+ years relevant chef experience and a formal cooking/culinary arts qualification. Must have experience in an a la carte Restaurant environment, will not consider Hotel chef experience unfortunately. Must be able to assist in coordinating and managing a complete kitchen operation. Main focus will be food preparation and food quality control. Looking for someone who is creative and has experience in running a pass. Must be skilled in and informed of modern and latest food trends. Will also be responsible for stock management. Suitable applicants must be able to work under pressure. This is a cooking and management role. Will consider candidates aged 23 to 30 years old.. Salary R 23000 - 28000 K CTC.
