RESTAURANT MANAGER – Somerset West

Pick Me Recruitment is searching for an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage a busy 75 seater restaurant on a boutique property, situated in Somerset West. The restaurant offers a relaxed casual dining experience.

The ideal candidate is an energetic manager with hands-on operational and event management experience, excellent communication skills, strong leadership and inventory control. The candidate must have previous experience in managing a strong front of house team. A formal hospitality qualification and excellent wine knowledge will be advantageous.

The role is to manage and assist with the successful day to day running of the restaurant operations, events, assist with restaurant marketing strategies, overseeing food quality and continued staff development.

Position Requirements :
• A qualification in hospitality management will be advantageous
• Excellent wine knowledge. WSET or CWA qualification will be advantageous
• Own vehicle and driver’s licence
• Able to effectively manage and lead a team
• Excellent operational and leadership skills essential
• Experience in events management is essential
• Excellent communication skills on all levels
• Guest and service centric

Remuneration: R18 000 pm
