RESTAURANT MANAGER – HELDERBERG REGION

Pick Me Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager on one of South Africa’s oldest working farms, situated in the Helderberg Region. The restaurant offers inside and outside seating and serves authentic South African meals. Trading hours includes Breakfast and Lunch.
The perfect candidate must be guest and service centric with an eye for detail, strong operational, managerial and communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure. It is required to have a valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Key Responsibilities:
• Hands-on approach to restaurant operations
• Help ensure business growth and overall guest experiences
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure quality, standards and controls are maintained
• Daily administrative and financial duties
• Daily reporting functions
• The management of Health and Safety and Covid-19 regulations
• Guest liaison and management of overall guest experience

Minimum Requirements:
• Previous experience in managing busy restaurant operations
• Strong administrative skills
• Computer Literate
• Ability to lead and manage a team of people effectively
• Strong management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Resourceful and an exceptional eye for detail
• Adaptable to change
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

Remuneration: R14 000
