RESTAURANT OPERATIONS MANAGER – JHB AREA
Our client is a trendsetting and benchmarking brand and an innovative restaurant group, characterised by a high quality Café style menu and award winning mixology, combining the key features of a coffee & cocktail bar, restaurant & entertainment venue in a vibrant store setting.
The ideal individual has a minimum of 3 – 5 year’s + experience in overall Food and Beverage Operations management with a strong financial acumen and budget management skills and a fierce work ethic.
Minimum Requirements
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management will be advantageous
• Minimum of 3 -5 years‘ + experience in Food and Beverage Management in a high-pace environment
• Exceptional Guest- and Service centric skills
• Must have solid hands-on operational approach and management skills
• Excellent wine knowledge
• Exceptional restaurant administration knowledge and experience
• Proven track record with examples and references
• Matric
• Computer literate
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining this 250 seater restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals
• Responsible for the smooth running of the day to day operations
• Service and guest centric approach
• Management of over 20 FOH and BOH staff, including a Kitchen Manager
• Recruitment, continued development and staff performance management
• Inventory management / Supplier liaison
• Budget management

Remuneration: R30 000 – R35 000 Base Salary plus Incentives
