Retail Area Manager - Johannesburg

An exciting new retailer of branded men's apparel expanding nationwide with 9 stores in the Western Cape and 12 in Gauteng.

Candidate will be responsible for the following functions in 12 to 14 stores

Duties and responsibilities

- Stock Take
- Store administration
- Store check lists
- Stock Control
- CCMA cases and disciplinary hearings
- Staff Recruitment
- POS system management
- New Store openings
- Staff training
- Store procedures
- Store disciplines

Attributes and Skills required

- Passion for retail
- Product orientated
- Sales driven
- Excellent at merchandise presentation
- Have above average computer skills
- Be excellent at stock administration and stock control
- Extremely logical
- Not afraid to work long hours
- Career driven
- Be security wise in the absolute extreme
- Excellent on administration
- Excellent on fraud and theft investigations
- Have experience with CCMA and disciplinary hearings
- Recruitment skills


Suitable candidates would ideally

- Be matriculated
- Have a post matric academic qualification
- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar position

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED

Salary: R30k - R35k (depending on experience)
