JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (above average Maths grades).
Relevant degree (or currently studying) is essential (preferably but not limited to Commerce, Business Science, Science, Social Science).
English speaking person (must be able to read / write / speak English competently).
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Knowledge and interest in finance and investment management is essential.
Excellent telephonic skills, this position involves assisting clients telephonically, via email and walk-in interactions. Person must have clear, confident, friendly and professional telephone skills.
This position would only be suitable with someone with strong client focus and interest in investments, proven leadership and problem-solving potential, strong verbal and written communication skills, highly adaptable and resilient personality.
The person will be required to professionally assist investors, potential investors and financial advisers via various servicing channels.
Discussion and explanation of all funds and products.
Assisting clients with process information and quotes.
Assisting clients with the tracking and follow up of transactions in progress.
Responding to queries regarding investment performance.
Clarifying and explaining the company’s investment approach and philosophy.
Ensure accurate record keeping through service-related administrative tasks.
Assist with database updates and information maintenance.
Support a positive and responsive climate for client enquiry resolution.
Play a key role in the stewardship of positive client relationships and the retention of clients.
Build and establish relationships at all levels with internal departments to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
For training purposes, the successful candidate would be required to work at Cape Town office for the first 6 months.
