Looking for a Retail Planning Coordinator for Safari Shops for a company based in Sandton.

The Retail Planning Coordinator is responsible for delivering extraordinary guests experiences by planning and managing the stock orders for all the company safari shops. Working hand-in-hand with the shop planners, the Retail planning coordinator is responsible for forecasting sales and inventory requirements, open-to-buy budgeting, placing and coordinating orders & deliveries, managing all admin-related queries with suppliers and maintaining accurate databases. Part of this job also requires the Retail planning coordinator to fulfil all direct guest and staff shopping queries.

Qualifications required:
Qualification in Retail or Business Administration or Supply Chain
3-5 years’ experience in planning or stock management for the retail industry
Experience in the luxury fashion industry a plus
Knowledge of Accpac and Panstrat an advantage

Experience required:
Experience of financial retail management and administration
Proven competency in administration, budgeting and planning
Thorough understanding of retail cycles and buying, sourcing, and planning processes
Familiar with the inner workings and product strategies & philosophies of a luxury retail environment
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Proficient in Excel

Duties include:

PLANNING AND COORDINATION:
Manage stock replenishment orders according to deadlines and product lead-times
Raise and place orders with suppliers
Coordinate collections and deliveries
Liaise with suppliers
Align sales and inventory requirements

ADMINISTRATION:
Resolve all creditor queries, reconcile supplier’s accounts before submitting to GRV & invoices for payments
Check invoices against orders and update orders and supplier order forms

GUEST AND STAFF SHOPPING:
Acknowledge all queries (guests/staff/internal) within 24 hours of receipt
Monthly stock takes of guest shopping location
Reconcile banking weekly with administrator

OTHER:
Report any hazards identified and any actions you have taken
Be an integral part of the team at the warehouse
