5 years Fixed term contract
Job Purpose: Lead HR Department, responsible for all HR matters across company from recruitment to performance reviews, policies and procedures, wage reviews, disciplinary action, learning and development. Ensure effective and optimal implementation of HR Resources Strategy in a cost effectively manner.
Minimum Requirements:
-Fully bilingual with strong English proficiency
-Matric / Grade 12
-Relevant Tertiary Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development
-Human Resources Management experience in Government sector preferred
-10 years experience in Human Capital Management in particular HR strategy design and implementation, talent management, learning & development and organisational transformation.
-Knowledge around all legal requirements in this role
-Minimum 5 years experience at Senior Management level (As a HR Manager or relevant HR Senior Role)
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Duties:
-Report to Chief Operations Officer
-Manage the recruitment process, including maintaining smooth on boarding processes, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulations on recruitment.
-Implement staff development and talent management strategies to continually improve staff competency /leadership capacity and performance in line with values and value proposition
-Provide Human Resources Best Practices with guidance and support as it relates to maintaining a sound Employee Relations climate in line with the organisation’s employee relations philosophy.
-Ensure compliance and adherence with all relevant legislative requirements, internal policies and procedures across the institution.
-Drive and participate in the Employment Equity, Skills Development and Union Committee structures to ensure fair and consistent application of all statutory requirements and reporting.
-Provide accurate reporting as it relates to key HR metrics that will augment the business goals and drive organisational effectiveness.
-Drive, facilitate and manage the implementation of a Human Resources Strategy in support of the overall Organisational Strategy.
-Manage and coordinate Performance Management system across the institution, including resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
-Undertake administrative duties for the Human Resources Department and associated functional units and service providers.
-Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance in terms of relevant laws.
-Oversee the implementation of HRM standards.
-Mitigate HR related risks (operational, reputational and strategic).
-Monitor the Human Resource Management Budget
Salary: R 68 000.00 – R 90 000.00 gross per month CTC (Depending on relevant experience)
