Our client is the market leader in slurry handling equipment. They currently have a vacancy for Rubber Liner in Kathu. The successful incumbent will have Grade 12 as a minimum, together with experience working with rubber products.

Position details:

Meet production targets.
Active participation in improvement activities.
Ensure the metal work is rubber lined to blueprint and specification.
Inspection of parts for potential defects.
Cut and assemble rubber as per the drawing.
Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety.
Safe usage of hazardous chemical and dangerous equipment.
Perform any other general duties that may be reasonably required to perform.
Adhere to all HSE and housekeeping requirements at the branch.
Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate
Valid Vehicle Licences (EB)

Minimum Experience:
1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with rubber products (Linatex) advantageous.

Minimum Skills/Abilities:
Clear communication at all levels.
Ability to read drawings.
Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Able to follow instructions and respond to management’s direction.
Safety conscious.
Quality conscious.
