Vacancy for a 2nd year trainee accountant is available in the Pietermaritzburg
SA Citizens only
Must reside in and around PMB

Minimum Qualification:
Completed 1st Year articles
Currently studying CTA through UNISA
Candidate who have completed CTA will also be considered
Able to travel
Own vehicle and valid license will be an advantage
Must be willing to work overtime
Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be well spoken and presentable

Engaging with clients (Audit/Accounting readiness)
Supervising Junior trainee's on assignment
Clearing review queries
Checking secretarial compliance (Annual returns/Minutes
Checking Tax Compliance
Management of own productivity
Reporting the status of files to seniors and senior managers
Providing feedback to clients and liaising with client regarding queries
Must be able to deal with the pressure and meet designated deadlines
Must be able to work within a team and manage expectations

Job Specifications
Individual applying must be studying toward the AGA(SA) or CA(SA) Qualification
The firm will offer on the job and in-house training in line with SAICA requirements to equip the individuals with the competencies to become future CA's
