1.Role summary

We are seeking a candidate with strong technical skills and a passion for training and the development of young professionals. The successful candidate will be expected to act as Overall Evaluator for trainees on the SAIPA training program.
The required working hours will be 20 hours per week.

2. Key responsibilities

- Preparing and presenting technical training
- Preparing and presenting soft skill training where needed
- Preparing and reviewing assignments
- Ensure that trainees’ logbooks are up to date and competencies are signed off in a timely manner
- Acting as mentor and role model for trainees on the SAIPA program
- Liaising with the line managers of the SAIPA trainees and obtaining a clear understanding of the trainees’ responsibilities within the working environment
- Liaising with the human resources department and the South African Institute of Professional Accountants on ad hoc admin matters
- Obtaining a clear understanding of what the South African Institute of Professional Accountants expects of the trainees on the training program

3. Skills / experience required

- Professional qualification – CA(SA) or registered SAIPA member in good standing with the relevant professional institution
- Strong technical skills
- Passion for training and the ability to motivate trainees
- Keen interest in the mentoring and development of young professionals
- Highly proficient English speaker with concise writing ability
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
- Structural and detail orientated
- Strong interpersonal skills
