We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Agent to contribute in generating sales by cold calling.
You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services and closing sales deals over the phone, maintaining good customer relationships.
An effective Sales Agent must be an excellent communicator, must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and uncertainty.
The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.

Responsibilities
Learn the products and services offered, including the sales terms
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Record the customer’s personal information accurately on a CRM system
Deal with complaints or uncertainty
Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Requirements
Matric
No criminal record
Proven experience as a Sales Agent or Telemarketing
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems (e.g.: MS Office, MS Windows, Soft Phone (VICIdial)
Excellent communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills
Adherence to schedule, planning and organizational skills
Consistent and results-oriented
