Qualifications/Experience
• Tourism/Hospitality qualification
• Protel or similar PMS Training essential
• Minimum 3 years Lodge Reservations or similar industry experience in the luxury market
• Computer Literate with Microsoft Office
• English speaking, fluent in written English

Here’s what you’d do
o Logging and responding to enquiries by phone and e-mail, making reservations in accordance with agreed turnaround guidelines
o Updating and reconfirming all website bookings
o Ensure reservations are handled in accordance with company minimum standards for turnaround/confirmation and follow up
o Following up on provisional reservations
o Updating and maintaining our client database
o Issuing invoices, chasing and receipting payments for reservations
o To book internal flights and road transfers for guests as required
o Ensuring all guests requests such as booking excursions, treatments etc. are actioned and accurately detailed in Protel
o Creating guest profiles for identified VIP & repeat clients and ensuring they are updated
o Maintaining a good rapport with guests

Health/Physical
• No specific requirements, however non-smoker would be preferable

Here’s the deal
• Permanent Employment (Subject to 3-month probation)
• Basic monthly salary – Market Related
• An incentive bonus will be paid according to the company bonus criteria for Sales and Reservations on a bi-annual basis as agreed with the Groups and Sales Director. The first incentive bonus period will commence following the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.
• 50% Company Contribution on Medical Aid
• 50% Company Contribution on Pension Fund
