RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding MANUFACTURING organisation in Midrand
to recruit a SALES COORDINATOR to support their SALES/MARKETING DEPARTMENT.

Purpose of the position: A dedicated Marketing Coordinator to help with the organization and running of the daily marketing, events and administrative operations of the department.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Matric certificate
Have completed a relevant Marketing Degree
Proven experience as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator
Thorough understanding of Marketing and Event Management
Computer Literate (MS Office Package)
Valid Driver’s License
No criminal record and medically fit
Well presented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
Ability to work under pressure and at times with minimum supervision

Primary Functions for this position (include but are not limited to):
Assist with all assigned tasks for expos or company events
Attending expos and events and representing the company
Event planning and management
Help manage the marketing budget by creating spreadsheets with all collateral and advertisement space purchased
Ensure all marketing collateral is up to date and information is correct
Ensure all Employees are provided with and have access to relevant marketing collateral
Ensure all Advertising Media Bookings and material are sent through on time as per the bookings.
Keeping records of all marketing material and advertising that the department designs or issues
Liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies – screening them, to ensure the Marketing Manager has a good summary of potential advertising options
Regularly meets with the Marketing Manager to check for any adhoc tasks given outside of standard scope of works.
Completion of company application forms, data and vendor application forms
Administrative assistance - requesting prices & quotes and when requested including typing and filing.
Ensure all invoices are submitted to the finance department for payment and signed by the Marketing Manager
Keep a record of all invoices paid
Assisting management and staff with various marketing requests

Remuneration:
R12 000 to R15 000ctc depending on experience and qualifications.
