Established in 1987, The Cock ‘n Bull is one of the leading tobacco retail stores in Cape Town that sells a wide range of tobacco related products and accessories. We are looking for a customer focused retail Sales Assistant for our Canal Walk store to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization.

Responsibilities:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Meeting store and individual sales targets
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
Recommend and display items that match customer needs
Welcome and greet customers
Work on point-of-sale
Actively involve in the receiving, checking and merchandising of new stock
Keep up to date with product information
Accurately describe product features and benefits
Follow all companies policies and procedures
Experience:

Proven working experience in sales or customer service
Knowledge about Vaping and its products a HUGE ADVANTAGE
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service focus
Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
Grade 12

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R4,700.00 - R5,200.00 per month
