Established in 1987, The Cock ‘n Bull is one of the leading tobacco retail stores in Cape Town that sells a wide range of tobacco related products and accessories.
We are looking for Sales Assistant’s at our Blue Route Mall and 3 ARTS Village (Southern Suburbs) Stores - to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. The goal is to provide top quality customer service and to maximize sales in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Drive and meet sales targets
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Recommend items that match customer needs
• Welcome and greet customers
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Work on point-of-sale
• Receiving, checking and merchandising of new products
• Remain updated on product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements (what do you need to do the job?)
• Grade 12
• Sales or customer service experience
• Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficient in English
• Solid interpersonal skills and engaging personality
• Self-reliant, friendly, helpful and confident
• Capacity to work a flexible schedule (weekends and evening shifts) according to the needs of the business
• Possess a strong work ethic and hands-on attitude.
